Overview

This project involved designing a unified credit card portal used across multiple financial institutions, including Laurentian Bank, Canadian Western Bank, Affinity Credit Union, and UNI.

Problem

Users lacked a centralized, intuitive way to manage their credit cards. Existing platforms made it difficult to track transactions, understand balances, or complete basic account actions. Experiences varied widely between institutions, creating inconsistency and confusion.

Approach

The focus was on building a flexible system that could scale across brands while keeping the experience consistent.

Core user needs, managing cards, viewing transactions, and accessing account details were prioritized. The interface was simplified to reduce noise, with a strong emphasis on hierarchy and readability.

A modular design system allowed each institution to maintain its brand while using the same underlying structure.

Solution

A clean, secure portal that makes it easy to manage credit cards, review transactions, and navigate account features without friction.

Result

More consistent user experience across institutions, improved engagement within the portal, and fewer support requests related to account navigation and transaction visibility.
